Synopsis

This book, Inside An Elusive Mind: Prabhakaran is a riveting, meticulously constructed story of a man of the jungle. Velupillai Prabhakaran's appetite for bloodletting shows no signs of abating a quarter century after he entered the macabre world of separatist violence. The man started with a cause that was once credible and creditable, but over the years the campaign to carve a separate homeland out of the tropical Indian Ocean island nation of Sri Lanka has become subservient to his personal megalomania. This book is about one of the most wanted men in the world. Twenty years after he took measured steps into the world of violent sub-nationalism, Prabhakaran of Sri Lanka has become one of the world's most ruthless separatist leaders.
