Synopsis

It is only when you know of the Judge's craft that you will be able to judge the performance of the judges: only then will you know the difference between the good and the bad judges.
The most important quality of justice is the fair trial. Even the highest rank among the judges lament at the people who criticized them for being unfair or biased by the outcries of the losing party. Judges serve the community who expects them to conduct and dispense justice fairly and impartially so that all parties would see that justice is done and seen to be done.

The duty of the judge is to administer justice according to the law as it stands. The book discusses two of the most infamous decisions of the Federal Court in the cases of Adorna Properties v.Boonsom Boonyanit and Insas Bhd. v. Ayer Molek Rubber Co. Bhd. under the section heading “When Justice is not Administered According to Law.” Many more -eye-openers are found in this book. There is also a short Introduction to Advocacy which contains useful tips which will be helpful to many lawyers.
